Hue of Crisis
A Group of People Standing Workshop Project
Hue of Crisis examines how the climate crisis is represented in images from online news media. Based on an extensive dataset of climate-related visuals, the project analyzes patterns across color, time, location, and image content.
An interactive interface enables filtering and exploration of the data, allowing both an overview of broader trends and close inspection of individual images. Through this approach, the project reveals visual patterns and underlying structures in how climate narratives are constructed and communicated.
